Tonight was the first night I kept Jon up much later than he should've been since he came to Dixon. He and I played with that a studio light at the cabin.
First we took photos to figure it out in the kitchen of the cabin.
Then we went outside and played with it and the flashlight.
Then we thought, "what if we make the strobe go off a couple times during the exposure..." and did like 10 second exposures.
Then, it naturally went to this...
and this...
Before we left, the moonlight seemed pretty bright, so I took a photo of the cabin using the moonlight in a 30 second exposure.

this is awesome and i'm really jealous i wasn't there this time, even though i hate not getting enough sleep. how did you do this so good? did you have to take tons of shots just to get the alignment right?
